Our History
1967
Articles of Incorporation were filed with the Secretary of State for the State of Indiana on June 5th, 1967 and
with Contributions from Mr. and Mrs. Willard E. Milner and land from Ethel Moore Milner Community Health Care, Inc was
soon to be a reality.
1971
The community of Rossville made contributions to help finish the construction of the Milner building and in 1971 Milner Community Health Care, Inc opened it door for the first time to the community.
1996
Milner Community Health Care felt the need with in the community for a Independent living area with in the Milner grounds and in 1996 ground was broken for the first home.
1999
Milner Community Health Care added on to the main building and created a new area to allow for assisted living.
2001
In the year of 2001 Milner Community Health Care became Medicare certified allowing them better access to the community with a new out reach program.
2002
Milner grew the main building again to better accommodate the growing community by adding more assisted living space.
2012
Milner builds a new Community Activity Center and adds more units to growing Independent Living Village.
2014
2014 Remodeled all common areas of nursing facility.
2018
Built 8 more independent living homes.
2022
Because of increased demand, added 8 more private rooms to the nursing home bringing total to 13.
